Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner...

I have LOTS of winner's to post today!!! First off congrats to...

Lillian Child from Omaha, NE...big congrats Lillian, you will love the Scarlet Lime October Frugal Fab Kit...I promise! Be sure to send me your addy...mleinbac@gmail.com.

Here is just a peek...

A few weeks back I offered a RAK to go along with a giveaway by GCD Studios. My winner for that is....

Chocolate Mousie...send me your addy and I will get a package of goodies out from me!

Now on to winners of a different kind...it is soccer season in my house. Every weekend we are traveling from field to field with each of the boys...during the week Nick also has school ball. So 7 days a week I am watching someone play or practice somewhere...this weekend it paid off for both the boys...mostly!

Jack's team made it to the final's of the Wilson Tournament this weekend. In the semi-final game Jack kicked the winning goal in a double overtime game. His team mobbed him on the field to huge cheers, and being drenched with water bottles to celebrate. He came away with a big trophy and bigger smile...congrats buddy!

Check him out...

Nick's Premier team also had a tourney this weekend...of course it was 100 miles away from Jacks...but we do what we do for our kids because we love them, right! Anyway Nick injured his foot during the first game of the tournament. It was sore and a little swollen but he took some Advil, sucked it up and played on. His team also made it to the finals...

They lost in the finals 0-1 to a team from NY...it was a great game for both teams and we certainly could not be disappointed with how well everyone played on both teams. Until we realized...

Yep...Nick's foot was actually broken. He played 4 games on a broken foot and didn't consider sitting out for a minute. He is already counting the days down to get out of it. His premier team is 7-0. They are undefeated in their division with 3 games to go...he is praying he will be ready to play in the Division playoffs. Here is to hoping...

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Making a bracelet with GCD Chipart Tool!

You have to love a good challenge! This month Heidi really sent me beyond my comfort level and asked the design team to create a piece of jewelry with our GCD Studios goodies. I am definitely a layout girl but I totally embraced this challenge. I decided to dig into the Ava collection. I also wanted to have an arty feel to this so I did lots with the Chip Art Tool. I don't normally wear much jewelry with the exception of my diamond earrings that my husband gave me as an anniversary gift. If I feel the need to "dress up" a few chunky bracelet are my favorite go to accessory...so I decided to make a chunky bracelet!

Using the Chip Art Tool I embossed 5 fun peices of Chipboard. I then painted it with 3 (teal, green, and white) colors of paint. I covered the other side of the chipboard with the Mod Shimmer paper. I applied a liquid adhesive to both sides as a protector and to add a fun glossy feel to it. A few spots of Platinum Stickles finished off the chipboard.

I added some beads and ribbon in between the chipboard and strung them all on some stretchy jewelry string. I had so much fun making this and really love how it turned out. Here is a necklace that I made to go with it.

Be sure to check out all the GCD Studios Design Team blogs this month. Everyone made some fabulous jewelry designs that will be sure to inspire you to step out side your "box"!

Lovin' Blueberry Hill!

I love the fun, vibrant colors in the Blueberry Hill collection by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker . This line was also perfect for these photos I wanted to scrap.

Each year my in-laws take the boys for a "Breakfast Picnic" at the park. The boys help cook, play on the playground and dive in to a delish breakfast! This year we make it a big family affair! My brother and his daughters came as well as my hubby and my nephew.

Nicks favorite part of the day...beside the eating is helping cook. It also happen to be one of my niece's Adrienne's birthday so we added a little birthday cake and celebration to our breakfast meal.

A few details...

I also decided to start some of my homemade Christmas gift early...I can now cross one off my list. I made this for my father in law...perfect little way to display some new pictures of the boys on his desk.

I wanted an easy template so that I can just update the pictures for him periodically. I made the cube a with kraft cardstock and can easily remove the pictures and put new ones with little work or hassle.

This photo cube is by Traditions Studio. I love that this sits on a base and you can just spin it around to see another picture...so cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Pebbles LO and a RAK!

All this month the new DT at Pebbles will be revealed. I am thrilled to be staying on for a second term!!!! Here is a new LO I did sharing a little bit about myself...

A few details...

Lynn asked us a few questions about ourselves, here is what I had to say.

Describe yourself in 3 words … friend, wife, soccer mom

My guilty pleasure is … vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and whipped cream. No cherry though - I can't stand them!

You’ll never find me without
… chapstick - I am hopelessly addicted to it.

Growing up I … hardly knew how to ride a bike. We always had horses so if I was going to ride anything it was a horse. Now my youngest son has the same love for horse back riding I did as a child.

You might be surprised to know that I … have run 2 marathons. I would love to do one more someday. I am hoping my last will be the first one my son ever runs!

If I could live anywhere in the world it would be … Maine. I love New England and spent lots of summers there as a child.

My least favorite chore is … ugh, where do I start - dusting, no, bathrooms, no, laundry, no, all of them. Weird thing is I am a clean freak so I do it despite hating it.

If I had one wish it would be
… that every time I ate a bowl of pasta it did not go straight to my hips.

Now for the fun part! Checkout the Pebbles blog for a chance to win a fun RAK!

Good Luck!
