Pebbles Spring fun...

I am just loving the new release by Pebbles this year and if you didn't hear there is even more fun on the way in the form of a mid-season release!!!! More about that in a few.

I have three layouts to share. This layout is all about my favorites, my favorite color is purple, my favorite flower is hydrangea and my favorite Pebbles line is Happy Go Lucky! I just love the dimensional stickers ... they make scrapping easy. Plop one of them down and you have instant texture and dimension. I decided to take the same idea of the layered dimensional stickers and add pop dots to my punched circles which I layered and loved the look. So simple, so easy and totally dimensional.

And a few details...

My niece Adrienne is one of those little one that loves to be outside. As soon as Spring comes and it turns green outside she is begging to get out in the yard and play. One of her favorite things to do ... SWING! It is all the better when you are being pushed by your big cousin! The combination of products of the Ever After and Happy Go Lucky lines were perfect for the Spring and little girl theme of my layout. I love that!

The Mr & Mrs Collection is the perfect wedding collection but even better than that it is a great basic collection. I could see these products working with any theme. I did decided to do a wedding layout from my brother-in-laws wedding.

I loved using the layered flowers. I decided I wanted the flower to match the flowers from their wedding so I spritzed it with ink and added a few polka dot Stickles. I love that they were so easy to make "my own". It is great that they are so alterable too!

Now check out this post here it has all the images from the new line...loving this!

Hope you all have a fantastic day! Hugs!

Happy Easter, Happy Spring!

I want start off wishing everyone a wonderful Holiday! Enjoy the day!

I also wanted to share this fun Want2Scrap project with you. I have made these awesome acrylic sheets before. I have already created one of these for both winter and summer...but it is time for spring so I pulled out my scraps and decide to create away...oh yeah, you will see one of these in the fall too. That is the only season that I don't have one for yet!

I used six types of bling on this...gotta love me some bling! Pink Pearls, White Pearl Swirls, Amber Rhinestones, Silver Rhinestones, Lavender Pearls, and Green Rhinestones.

I love how just a few scraps of colorful paper mixed with tons of bling makes this just perfect! Check out these fab swirls!

In the next few weeks you will be seeing all kinds of fun new goodies! Want2Scrap, Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker, Graphic 45, and PSA Essentials, Beacon Adhesives have all been extremely generous with our design team and I just wanted to say a very big Thank You to them all.

I hope everyone enjoys their sweet day!

Hugs!

Earth Day Recycle Project

Hi Everyone! Happy Earth day...almost! I wanted to share with you an altered memo book I created with some recycled tags, a shirt label, some beads from the kids craft box, and even a bottle cap. I am a big believer in recycling so when it came time for me to create a project I knew I wanted to incorporate some of my "recycled" finds. Anytime I come across a "cool" tag I cut if off and add it to my stash. I had no shortage of material to create this memo book.

I love the idea of keeping this in my car to write down note on the go or paperclip in coupons so they don't get lost.

Recycle Memo Book Details

To create this fun embellishment I pulled a cool bottle cap from my stash. Poured in a thick, liquid adhesive and then spelled out "recycle" with some beads my kiddo's had left over from a craft project. I poured in some micro-beads for a little extra pop of color. Fun, don't you think?

I want to leave you with a few more "recycle" idea you can incorporate into your craft projects.

  • Cut the pocket from your kids old jeans. I love using these on my projects
  • Cut the tags out of the inside of shirts and use them as fun embellishments like the Lands End one I used in this project
  • Keep cool bottle caps or bottles to create with. A cool bottle can be altered and filled with candies as a great little gift.
  • I can't tell you how my mint tins I have altered to present a gift card. It makes a gift card much more personal when it comes in a hand made tin...these are also a great way for little girls to store their earrings and rings.

Hope you are now inspired to create a recycled project this Earth Day! Hope you have a great one!

Want2Scrap Bling Notepad!

My boys have the greatest teachers! Teacher Appreciation Day is just around the corner and I wanted to make something homemade to go with the gift card I already bought them. I bought a few notepads and went to town dressing them up.

I used the Hot Pink Phinestones, and Beautiful Bling Strips. I finished them off by adding a mesh flower and butterfly.

I simply cut a piece of cardstock or pattern paper the same length as the pad. I ripped and inked the bottom edge for dimension. Adhere that and embellish with bling, a flower or butterfly. Wrap them with a beautiful ribbon and you have a gift any teacher would love.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
