It has been a long time, LOL...

I know, bad blogging award here! I have has so much to do but am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and found the time to update my blog even if that time is at 5AM. LOL!

The boys are back to school, bummer! I like the summer way more than a Mom should, most days anyway. Here they are looking just to cute on the first day.

I have been busy working on DT project for both My Acrylic Album and My Kits & Pieces.

This month I received some of the coolest albums from MAA...check these out!

This is the Mason's Puzzle album. I actually made this into a wall hanging for Nick's room. Cool decor for a 10 year old soccer loving boy's room. One of the great things about this puzzle and MAA is that every time one of these albums is bought MAA makes a donation toward autism research at www.autismspeaks.org. What a great way to make a donation and at the same time buy a fun album.

In case you didn't know they also make custom albums. They sent me this one with my name. I had to really think about this album...I am not really one to do LO's or albums about myself but this is one of my favorite albums ever. I used a kit from the Scarlet Lime site and had a ton of fun doing it and love the result.

On September 4th I will have one of my My Acrylic Albums featured on the blog at Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. How fun it that?

The kits this month at My Kits & Pieces are so much fun. I actually made all 3 LO's the day my package came. Check out that stamp by Julie Fan-Fei Balzer, how cool is that?

I am also happy to tell you that I have been asked to teach at Scrappinawayvacations January 15th thru January 18th for a second year. It is a 4 day scrapbooking retreat in the Pocono Mountains at Split Rock Resort. I will be offering several MAA clear album or project classes so be sure to check back on September 15th for the official announcement. You will not believe it when you see who the other teacher are for this event...think big!

Happy scrapping!

Back from the Beach...and the wait goes on.

We are back from the beach! Good news, bad news...we no longer have sand in our ears but now it is back to the real world and school is right around the corner, ACK! Our weather was fantastic and it was great spending time with family, chatting, mini golfing, shopping, and catching up on my reading (Twilight) in the sand with the waves crashing around my feet. The boys wore themselves out boogie boarding and had a great time playing with their cousin. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

I finished my Chatterbox goodies and will share them when I can. I am happy with what I created and now the wait goes on till the announcement of the final team comes out. If nothing else I am very proud to have made the short list and came out with some great projects. Lets just hope they like them too, lol!

I have not had much time to scrap but I did sneak in a quick layout using these MAA acrylic gears, these are too fun and perfect for kids layouts.

JustRite Stampers has been extremely generous to the MAA DT and I soon will have a bunch of goodies to share using their products. I just can't wait to play with these fun stamps. I mean how cool are these.

Last but not least I got this cool blog award from my cyber buddies Scrap Chris and Marci.

Thanks girls, you are too sweet. I am not good at picking just a few people so consider yourself awarded and here are the rules to play.

1- we have to pass it forward to 5 people;
2- Four of them should be frequently visiting your blog
3- One of them should live in 'the other corner' of the world...hehehehe
4- you should return to the one who send you the award...

Happy Scrapping!

Chatterbox goodies and August Serendipity DT LO's!

I received a fantastic box of goodies from Chatterbox for the call backs! Down to the nitty gritty now. I only have 2 days to work on the 2 projects requested since I am off for vacation on Monday. Time to pull out the mojo.

Another fantastic bunch of kits at Serendipity Scrapbooks this month. I was lucky enough to work on both the Altered Kit and Just Enough Kits this month.

Here are a few of my projects with the Altered Kit!

And a few from the Just Enough Kit!

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping!
