Spellbinders Dies, Want2Scrap Bling...all on an Altered Tin

Hi ya! I am blessed with 2 very active boys...which means I don't ofter get to do the "girly" thing but thank goodness I am also blessed with six nieces so every now and again I can. They are at the age where gift cards are the object of their desire for birthday gifts...I get that...they can buy what they want. I always feel the need to give them something that shows how much I love then along with the cash. I love making them little things. My niece Livi just had her birthday so I decided to make her an altered tin to keep her earrings in.

This jar is actually an empty hair manipulator container and is the perfect size to keep earrings and rings in it.

Don't you just love that vivid blue bling...it certainly is set off by the flower and matching ink. I love that Want2Scrap packages it with several sizes in every package.

I also made a little card to go with it. It was a great way to check out some of those new Spellbinders dies...don't you love this one.

Thanks so much for popping by!

GCD Brave Girls Camp Contest and my CHA Layouts..

If you have not ran out and bought your Chip Art Tool to enter the GCD Studios Brave Girls Camp now is the time.

Here are all the details on how to enter...it really is a win/win so go for it!

I can also share my GCD Studios CHA layouts with you. I did use the chipart tool on each of these layouts so even more reason to grab one for yourself!

This is my niece Adrienne...darling!

She is as fresh as daisies!

I used the Chip Art Tool and chipboard from GCD to create this butterfly embellishment.

I thought this new line was perfect for some Disney pictures.

Yes...I used the Chip Art Tool again!

This line was perfect for a riding page.

I know...did it again!

I think this is perfectly outdoors...

More good news...It is time for GCD Studios yearly design team call. I have totally loved my year at GCD so give it a go...check it out here for all the details! Good Luck!

Pebbles Love...

This month Lynn challenged the Pebbles design team to do a love layout. I was going to do the typical romantic layout but decided to go a little more outside the normal "love" box. We all have things we love and my son Nick realized what he loved at the age of 3 ... SOCCER. He plays it every day, of every season. He loves to watch soccer videos, talk about the game, and when the weather is bad ... like 13+ inches of snow we have right now he is inside playing soccer on his Kinect. Last spring when we were making our summer plans he asked me if he could go to a soccer camp every week of the summer. Of course since we don't have a money tree he had to narrow it down to 3 camps, total torture for the kid, lol! He has a love for the game that just amazes me and I have no doubt that soccer will be part of his life forever.

I hope you all have a great upcoming Valentine's Day! Hugs and thanks for popping by!

Want2Scrap, Just Us Girls, and Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker...

Hi all...wanted to tell you about a great little sketch contest over at Just Us Girls. Want2Scrap is the sponsor this week and since I am on their DT I was asked to play along. Want2Scrap is offering up a $25 gift certificate as a prize so it is certainly worth playing along. If you have not yet seen it Want2Scrap is now working with Spellbinders to create a great product called Nestabling. It is designed to work perfectly with Spellbinders Nestabilities diecuts. It is a fantastic idea so take a gander when you have a few minutes.

Anyway here is the sketch, it is great for both cards and layouts. Of course I had to work a little Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker in. The We Are Family line worked perfectly for this.

A few details...

Be sure to check out the Just Us Girls blog for lots of great designs using this sketch made by Want2Scrap own Dana Gustafson.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs!

More Nikki Sivils...

Nikki is releasing 6 great lines! Another one of my favorites is Summer. I used this for several projects and the colors are just "so pretty"! First off I made this birdhouse. I called it my "Nikki Brick House. Combining some of the Summer with Tim Holtz Fragments and Want2Scrap Pearls.

A little decor...so cute and easy!

I have a ton of pins and wanted a new way to display them. This tiny pot and some paper from Nikki are a great way to have some pins right at my hands.

I know this line will be a huge hit...It's Your Day is perfect for any day but great for a birthday layout. I did one of each. My Lucy girl just had a birthday this month...sweet 16!

I also made a candy container...with a few treats and a gift card tucked in this will be the perfect gift.

I wanted to use this line for an everyday layout. It doesn't have to be just birthday. This is my brother...I love him to death!

The We Are Family line was just perfect for these pictures of Jack and Nick.

Total goofballs as you can tell by the photos. You can also stop by her blog to check out all the fun pictures from CHA!

Hugs!
