New Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker releases!

It is CHA time again and I always love seeing all the great scrappy releases come out! I was lucky enough to get to play with two of Nikki's new lines.

Check out Willow Bee...what a great spring and summer line. I just loved all the papers...so cute! This is my niece Gabi. While were were out blueberry picking one day she came across this cluster of caterpillars, while I was totally grossed out, she was ecstatic...go figure?

I made this layout highlighting some of my favorite summer flowers.

I also worked with the Bella Blue And Oscar Too line. This is the cutest Pet line ever! I loved making these layouts of my sweetie, Lucy!

I love this girl.

I used this line to make a little altered jar and card any new pet owner will love...I filled the jar with treats for the new addition to the family.

Nikki has some great new products, be sure to check out the Burlap Buttons. These are a must have in every color. I even used the buttons packaging in my Sitting Pretty layout! There are a total of 6 new releases so be sure to check out the rest here .

Thanks for stopping by!

Prima, Hambly, Tombo, and October Afternoon Oh My!

Over the last few months I have been lucky enough to win a few prizes from Prima, Hambly and October Afternoon. Jack was home sick today so while he was napping I dug into my new goodies and played!

A few details...

If you have not seen these new Prima picks be sure to check them out!

I have been playing with lots of ink like Shimmerz and Tattered Angels lately and have lots of fun. I picked up this new bottle of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Lemon Zest on my last trip to Scraptacular and this layout was perfect to try it out...what a great color! It was the perfect match for the Report Card line from October Afternoon. Next on my wish list Pumpkin Pie and Blue Sky.

This alpha set has so many letters, I will use them a ton!

If you have not heard Tombow USA is having a contest. Check out their blog for a chance to win! I use MONO Aqua Liquid Adhesive on all my layouts, just love the stuff!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

U R My Favorite Goodies...and some snow fun!

We were hit by a snow storm last week and the kids made full use of the fluffy white stuff. It was a perfect packing snow and they set out and built 2 cool snowmen!

Here is Jack starting to build a snow fort!

My cute little nephew Jake!

Nick lounging in the snow!

Getting some air on his new snowboard he got from Santa!

The kids just loved it!

I am excited to share some projects I did using the U R My Favorite line by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker . I just loved the colors pink, orange, and brown together, talk about a pop of color!

Of course I had to do a Valentine's Day project and made this little tin for my sons teacher. I will fill it with some Hersey kisses and what a cute, cost effective and sweet gift for a teacher.
I had so much fun making this and you can find these cute little tins at the Target Dollar Spot! They match this line perfectly!
I also created this LO of my niece Gabi. Is she not the cutest? This darling girl will someday be quite the heart breaker.
Here are a few details...
These colors are just so pleasing to the eye and matched so much of my stash.
I thought this line would be perfect for a missing you card. This just shows how versatile these products can be...
Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting...Happy Scrapping!

Happy New Year Friends!

Hi all! I just wanted to say Happy New Years to all my cyber friends! My wish is for you all to have a happy and healthy new year! I am totally bummed that the holiday time off went so fast and that everyone heads back to the real world on Monday. Boo Hoo!

I do have a few scrappy projects to share with you. This holiday gave me lots of time to play with the family as well as fit in some scrappy time.

Here are a few details...

I also had fun working with the Marks Paper Company Winter Wrap Digital Kit. I made this hybrid layout using it...is that paper not fabulous!

The tag and ticket are both from MPC kits so if you are a digi or hybrid girl snag them because even though I am a paper girl I still love them and love that I can use them over and over again.

I designed this LO of my BIL and his son...my sweet nephew. We went to Disney with them this year and Jake's favorite way to experience Disney was from his dad's shoulders.

A close up...

I just wanted to share some good news with you...I have several pubs this month and 2 are new to me. I have a LO in the January CK. Check out the first page of the Tips & Tricks section.

I am also in Simply Handmade for the first time in the Dec/Jan issue.

Last but not least I have a LO in the December issue of Scrapbook Trends.

Thanks for letting me share my good news with you...it never fails to excite me or surprise me that people like my projects enough to print them!

Thanks again for stopping by friends! Hugs to you all!

Holiday Projects!

Tis the season for Christmas project so I have several to share. I had a ton of fun making this snow banner using the December Kit from I AM A Scrapaholic. I created this banner to hang on my fireplace. I used a heat gun to emboss "snow" on the edges and heated it just enough to curl the edges and create a mitten shape.

I used Shimmerz on the alphabet and then added Stickles polka dots. I used lots of glitter and bling on this project to give it some major holiday shimmer. This also gave me a chance to pull out some fibers that have been in my stash for years!

The papers in the kit are perfect for this kind of project and just happened to match my family room decor perfectly!

This year I am all about altering tins as gifts so here is another one. I made this using mostly Pebbles Inc. goodies!

I am loving working with the North Pole Nights collection by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker.

These non-traditional colors are so much fun for my Christmas projects!

I dressed up the alphabet by adding a few jewels to the letters.

In this layout I cut the tree and gifts from the pattern paper and added both Stickles and Liquid Pearls to the tree for a little more punch!

The holidays are all about saying "Thank you" for the kindness people have shown to us. I made this bag and matching tag using Pebbles Little Buddy line. My Mom was recently sick and in the hospital for about 10 days. She developed a Staff infection at the site of her last breast cancer site and it was quite a scary time. She ended up needing surgery and there were so many people that helped her and I out that I think I may need to make a dozen of these for all the wonderful help they gave us.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs friends!

Lots of scrappy stuff...

Last week was a very fun week for me. I was thrilled to be the Guest Artista at Bella BLVD. I love scrapping with their products and was really excited to be featured on their blog last week.

Here are my projects...

Some of my favorite shots from last Christmas!

A few detail shots...

This is one of my favorite pictures of my mom and the kids...

I so love these alpha's...

A few random nature shots...

These Bella Blooms are a must have in every color!

Be sure to check out the Pebbles blog this week. Mirelle is the talented blog hostess of the week and there are some great Christmas projects and even a bonus sketch to get your month of December off to a great start.

Here is a little jar of candy I made...another one of those handmade Christmas gifts for the boys teachers. I will leave you with a few random layouts that make me happy!

I finally got my fall pictures developed so I had to play with them.

And some details...

I took this picture in Disney's Epcot, London of course.

I am having lots of fun making me own flowers right now. This is made with Shimmerz, fabric, cut glass, stickles and adhesive. A little sewing is involved but I think it is worth the effort.

I am so glad I am getting back on track...I will be back in a few days with some new December DT projects! Happy Scrapping!
