I forgot I had a blog...

Well not really but with so much going on I have not had the time to post or make any scrappy goodies to share. So today I am going to share some of my favorite pictures from the last few weeks. I have been lucky enough to spend my time at the kids school for Field Day, field trips, end of the year picnics, the art show, and of course the never ending soccer season.

This will be the first weekend we will be home in the last month because of traveling for soccer tournaments. But I must say it has been worth it getting photos like this:

It was a real mud bath last weekend:

And lets not forget the field trip to Crystal Cave:

My niece on the softball field:

On the scrappy front I was lucky enough to have a layout picked up by Scrapbooking and Beyond Magazine for their winter issue.

And here is a little sneak peak from the June kit at Serendipity Scrapbooks.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy your holiday weekend!

May DT projects and a Sketch LO!

It has been a while since my last post but I have been busy creating away! For all those that guessed my crop challenge was a "what makes you grin" LO challenge and congrats to all those that participated.

This months Kits at Serendipity Scrapbooks are FAB as usual and I had lots of fun creating projects with the Cosmo Cricket kits.

Here are just a few:

You have to check out Tracy's blog. She has created a sketch and I loved it so much I jumped right in and here is my interpretation:

Thanks for checking in!

A Cyber Crop and good news!

You need to check out Serendipity Scrapbooks this coming week. There is so much in the works. A chat with Pink Paislee on April 22nd, a chat with Layle from Scenic Route on April 26th, and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party April 25-27th. Serendipity's cyber crops are the best and you will not believe the amount of RAK's given out and even the big Queen of the Crop winner. We get a tremendous amount of activity for our crops and they are really just a bunch of fun. Kristen has tons of sales that weekend so don't miss those and with the new Sassafras, Scenic Route Chipboard, and Sweet Berry by K & Company it will be well worth the visit.

Here is a preview of one of my challenges, can you guess what it is?

And for the good news, I recently had a layout picked up by the Canadian magazine Scrapbook & Cards today. It is the first time I ever submitted to them so I am pretty please with getting it picked up. Be on the lookout for it in the summer issue.

Thanks for visiting friends!

Lots to share...and a RAK winner!

Yes...I am back to the real world. My trip with my hubby to Florida was all I imagined and so much more. The weather was lovely, 78-80 degrees all week and sunny of course. I even got a touch of sunburn as I relaxed by the pool and beach all week. We had some amazing meals, of course I ate seafood as much as I could. I figured if I was on vacation I was going to eat what I wanted to.

I popped around The Grand Floridian and Polynesian. They are my 2 favorite Disney resorts and I so enjoyed lazing about with a book and the sun and sand at my feet. My view from the beach at the Grand Floridian was amazing...

I spend a day at the spa getting a massage, manicure and pedicure and must say it was well worth the money.

This is my favorite picture I took that week. It is an evening shot at Disney's Beach Club Resort. I took it after dinner one night, YUM! A big shout out to Karen Russell for helping me improve my photography at her class last fall. Never would have gotten this shot without her!

Now I return to volunteering at school, soccer practice, and laundry. It was nice while it lasted though.

On to the scrappy news...the winner of my Pay it forward RAK is Erin Gudge.

Congrats girl! This cute little RAK will be mailed to you next week as soon as you send my your address. My email is mleinbac@gmail.com. Thanks for Paying it Forward!

Here is a little sneak peak of April's Altered Kit at
Serendipity Scrapbooks. You don't want to miss this one. It may very well be my favorite kit of all time. Check back on April 1st to see the rest.

LOTS to show and tell...and a RAK!!!

Well I have disappeared for a few weeks again but I am back with lots to share. The big news is this week is my son Jack's birthday! He will be seven on Monday and I just can't believe it myself. Here he is looking so cute!

He had more good news when he was chosen as one of 20 students from our school district out of over 4000+ to have his artwork on display at a local gallery. It included ages K-12 and we are so very proud of him.

Here he is with his winning art work:

For those of you who have wished my Mom well thank you so much, she is on the mend and feeling much better.

I have lots of fun DT layouts to share from the March kits at Serendipity Scrapbooks. As usually Kristen's kits are amazing so don't miss them.

I loved working on this months CT projects at TTS and had such fun with the Daisy D Maybe baby line and Sugared Alphabets from Doodlebug, be sure to check these out at the store at 35% they are a real deal! Coming up on March 14-15 is a crop at TTS. So for lots of fun challenges and prizes stop on by.

I want to thanks to Chris for the cutest pay it forward RAK ever. With lots of little goodies I am now ready to offer one of my own. So if you would like to win a RAK and will be willing to then pay it forward, let me know in your comments and I will pick one random winner. This RAK is really cute and includes a new red AMM storage bag filled with lots of goodies.

On Monday I am off to Orlando, FL for a mini vacation with my hubby. It is a business trip for him with conferences during the day but I am tagging along this time and really can't wait. I will make the most of my free time visiting LSS Stores and have scheduled an Aromatheraphy Massage, Manicure, and Pedicure at the Grand Floridian Spa. I will return with lots of pictures, pretty toes and nails, and probably about 5 extra pounds. So off I go and see you soon.

Back from the abyss...I mean lost in the daily grind of life!

I know, I have been a bag blogger! AGAIN! This time I did have a reason though, actually lots of them.

1. I was sick.
2. My Mom was sick and in the hospital.
3. Soccer.
4. Took a trip to the Big Apple to celebrate my 36th Birthday. Yes, I am admitting that. I even made it out alive dispite my fever of 101 and the box of tissues I had tucked under my arm.
5. Lost my blogging mojo and developed Carpal Tunnel!

But now I am back and with lots to share, so for my faithful visitor thanks for sticking by me.

For those of you who don't know my Mom has had Breast Cancer twice and one of the side effects of this is she developed Lymphedema when they took the lymph nodes out of her arm. Her cancer had spread and now she had a tendency of getting infections in that arm. That happened this month and she was lucky enough to pull through the staph infection really well.

Here is one of my favorite LO's of her Survivor status!

I am celebrating the 7th anniversary of my 29th birthday this week. For all of you non-math majors that means I am 36. ACK!! I went to NYC with my family to see Grease on Broadway and spent the day in the city, really enjoying myself.

I have also been busy with my Serendipity DT LO's, here are a few! The kits are amazing this month and just so fun to play with. Jenni Bowlin will be stopping by for a chat on February 26 at 9PM Eastern time so be sure to check that out!

This month at TTS our sponsor was Scrapworks and I has a ball working with the Love in Bloom line. Here are a few CT projects! The grand opening of the new store will be this week so cruise by and do some shopping.

Last by not least I did a Pagemaps this month, actually a round map and want you to check it out! Beckys sketches can be so inspiring so if your mojo is missing it is definitley a great place to help you find it.

Well I am off to do some scrapping. I have 9 projects to do in the next 10 days and it is time to get back to business!
