The Nestaboard™ is so much fun...you just have got to try it.

I am not sure what I am going to use this album for yet so I created all the pages and can add my photos and embellishment when I have pictures.

Nestaboard Tutorial...lets get dirty!

I decided it was time to play with the Nestaboard™ from Want2Scrap™ and see how versatile it is...guess what, just as I anticipated...very versatile. I pulled out my Chipboard tools to see if they worked on the Nestaboard™! They sure do!

The first step is to spray the Nestaboard™ with water until it is wet. I used the Nestaboard™ Labels One, don't you love them!

While it is still wet insert the head into the stamp and hammer away until the Nestaboard™ stamp is embossed on the chipboard.


I used some black paint to cover the entire surface. Then I used a foam brush and very lightly painted on a contrasting color. Do no dab, but just lightly brush on the paint. To finish it off paint on a very thin layer of sparkle mod podge. This is the final product...It really looks great along with the Nestabling™ Labels One in Black Rhinestones.


Now add it to your card or layout!


I had a ton of fun playing with this, and it creates a beautiful technique that will be unique every time! Now why don't you pull out those tools and play too!

Scarlet Lime September Sketches...

Nikki Sivils September...

I dug into the Get Well Soon line this month and wanted to show just how versatile it was. Not just for sickie's you will see...

We visited Universal's Island of Adventures this summer and my kids (and I) just loved it. We are all big fans of the Harry Potter series and love the part of the park dedicated to it. The rides of course were great but we also loved Hogsmeade, it really looked just like you imagined it did in the books. The boys got their picture with the Hogwarts Express Driver.

I am seriously in awe of J. K. Rowling's imagination and this layout is a little tribute to her as well as a little reminder to my boys that the imagination is an amazing thing.

I also wanted to make a card for the darling Olivia, if you don't know who Olivia is please read here and find out. Believe me you will want to make a card for her too!

Bling Galore...

I have been making more cards lately...and really liking it! I must say it is also nice to have a selection of cards on hand when I need them. I decided to really bling up this card...bling, butterflies and glitz galore!


I have always loved these tiny pink and blue butterflies. They really are the perfect embellishment for almost any project!


These Beautiful bling strips are so fun to work with. I cut right through them so that I could have them the length I wanted...very versatile! I also added some 72 Count Silver Rhinestones. They go with every project perfectly and they are just so clean, clear and fresh! You can find them in the Want2Scrap™ store in just about any color you need so head in there for some retail therapy!


I played with some goodies from Ego Green Crafts too. I used this Ink in the Cherry Blossom color...so pretty! I also pulled out some Glass Glintz. I glued a bold pattern paper to the bottom of a few pieces. Love how that looks!
