More scrapping...

I scrapped again, just for me and wanted to share my layouts. Yep, more beach pictures.

And a few details:

My boys and I along with one of my neices spend the day with my Mom. Everyone had a great day and I just love this picture I took of all of them.

The details:

I received my October DT kit in the mail yesterday from My Kits & Pieces so I am hoping to get to play with that soon. I also have some fun clear albums to finish up from My Acrylic Album as well as those great stamps to play with from JustRite Stampers.

Another busy weekend is coming up with three soccer games and my youngest son is also riding in a horse show on Sunday. He is so excited about it. Hopefully I will have a few pictures to share.

Have a great weekend and happy scrapping!

Scrapping for fun, JustRite Stampers, and soccer...

Believe it or not, that is what I did this week. I scrapped for fun. It felt good to just sit down and scrap for me. It is not something I get the chance to do that much but it was fun to scrap with no rules. Here are the layouts I did.

This is my sisters dog Sadie! She is obsessed with diving in the pool after that ball. I took a ton of pictures of her doing this over and over again.

I have had a great time lately working with some different sized photos. Right now wallets are my favorite.

To create the wave I cut it out and added some liquid adhesive. I then sprinked crushed glass over it. I think it looks pretty cool!

I picked my nephew up for the day and took him and my boys strawberry picking, out for sundaes and a trip to play at the park. I just love this picture of them.

A few detail shots...I know, I went stickle crazy.

Look what came in the mail this week!

A box of wonderful goodies from JustRite Stampers. They were so generous and sent the design team at My Acrylic Album each a box of these to play with. How lucky are we. I can't wait to dig into these and play.

Last but not least this weekend was a soccer marathon weekend. I know most of them seem that way but between the 2 boys they had 6 games...ack! They each won 2 games and tied the 3rd. I had a ball taking pictures at their games...Action shots, especially sports photos are my favorite kind of pictures so here are a few of my favorites. By the way...the little blond guy is mine.

Here are a few from Nick's game.

Scrappin' Away Vacations Reveal and MAA giveaway...

Today is the big day at Scrappin' Away Vacations. Registration is opens today at 10AM for a 4 day scrapping event at the beautiful Split Rock Resort in the Poconos Mountains January 15-18. This years event is their 5th anniversary and help celebrate Lisa Pace, Jen Starr, and I will be teaching classes through out the event. I have had so much fun working with My Acrylic Album that I have decided to teach all acrylic classes using their products. Here is a sample of each. The first class will also be available in a girl kit.

My Acrylic Album now has a new blog. They will be putting up lots of tips and trips not to mention designs by the very talented DT. Be sure to check it out because they have a giveaway going on and how cool would it be to get a free album from them.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Scrapping!

More to share...

Now that the kids are back in school I have been making a little scrappy time in between soccer games and APT meetings. I have a ton of beach pictures and they have always been my favorite to scrap.

I received this Catch a Wave Album from My Acrylic Album as part of my DT projects this month. This was just so much fun to work with...

Chatterbox made their final cuts and to bad for me I did not make it but the team really is sensational and congrats to all the very talented girls. They cut the final group of 35 down to just 6 DT members. Wow, how tough that must have been. Here are a few projects I created with the box of goodies they sent me.

I used some scraps from a mini album I recently did to make this LO of my oldest neice Samanta. I just love taking sports actions shots and I love how serious she looks up at bat.

Last but not least I was tagged by my dear friend Rachael. She said some of the sweetest things about me and gave me this fun blog award.

I love so many blogs I can't just pick a few so if you feel like being tagged go for it.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Scrapping!

It has been a long time, LOL...

I know, bad blogging award here! I have has so much to do but am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and found the time to update my blog even if that time is at 5AM. LOL!

The boys are back to school, bummer! I like the summer way more than a Mom should, most days anyway. Here they are looking just to cute on the first day.

I have been busy working on DT project for both My Acrylic Album and My Kits & Pieces.

This month I received some of the coolest albums from MAA...check these out!

This is the Mason's Puzzle album. I actually made this into a wall hanging for Nick's room. Cool decor for a 10 year old soccer loving boy's room. One of the great things about this puzzle and MAA is that every time one of these albums is bought MAA makes a donation toward autism research at www.autismspeaks.org. What a great way to make a donation and at the same time buy a fun album.

In case you didn't know they also make custom albums. They sent me this one with my name. I had to really think about this album...I am not really one to do LO's or albums about myself but this is one of my favorite albums ever. I used a kit from the Scarlet Lime site and had a ton of fun doing it and love the result.

On September 4th I will have one of my My Acrylic Albums featured on the blog at Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. How fun it that?

The kits this month at My Kits & Pieces are so much fun. I actually made all 3 LO's the day my package came. Check out that stamp by Julie Fan-Fei Balzer, how cool is that?

I am also happy to tell you that I have been asked to teach at Scrappinawayvacations January 15th thru January 18th for a second year. It is a 4 day scrapbooking retreat in the Pocono Mountains at Split Rock Resort. I will be offering several MAA clear album or project classes so be sure to check back on September 15th for the official announcement. You will not believe it when you see who the other teacher are for this event...think big!

Happy scrapping!

Back from the Beach...and the wait goes on.

We are back from the beach! Good news, bad news...we no longer have sand in our ears but now it is back to the real world and school is right around the corner, ACK! Our weather was fantastic and it was great spending time with family, chatting, mini golfing, shopping, and catching up on my reading (Twilight) in the sand with the waves crashing around my feet. The boys wore themselves out boogie boarding and had a great time playing with their cousin. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

I finished my Chatterbox goodies and will share them when I can. I am happy with what I created and now the wait goes on till the announcement of the final team comes out. If nothing else I am very proud to have made the short list and came out with some great projects. Lets just hope they like them too, lol!

I have not had much time to scrap but I did sneak in a quick layout using these MAA acrylic gears, these are too fun and perfect for kids layouts.

JustRite Stampers has been extremely generous to the MAA DT and I soon will have a bunch of goodies to share using their products. I just can't wait to play with these fun stamps. I mean how cool are these.

Last but not least I got this cool blog award from my cyber buddies Scrap Chris and Marci.

Thanks girls, you are too sweet. I am not good at picking just a few people so consider yourself awarded and here are the rules to play.

1- we have to pass it forward to 5 people;
2- Four of them should be frequently visiting your blog
3- One of them should live in 'the other corner' of the world...hehehehe
4- you should return to the one who send you the award...

Happy Scrapping!
